Renovation Debris Removal in Ybor City
Restoring a century-old casita produces a surprising amount of debris — plaster, old cabinets, flooring, a bathroom’s worth of fixtures. The City’s SWEEP pickup won’t touch building materials, so we haul it by truck-fill instead: $241 for a quarter truck, $293 for a full kitchen rip-out.
The Cigar City
Vicente Martinez Ybor founded Ybor City in 1885 after moving his cigar business from Cuba by way of Key West. At its 1929 peak, the district’s factories rolled 500 million cigars.
Today it’s a National Historic Landmark District of worker casitas, and Tampa’s nightlife strip. That means two kinds of work: home renovations, and bars and restaurants replacing furniture and fixtures.
